Great bang for you buck. If you’re in the market for a tablet but on a budget, this is the way to go! Be mind when you purchase a table for $99 you won’t have the same features or quality as a $500 iPad but saving $400 is also nice too.

    Pros:
-Fast, really fast for the price
-2 in 1 feature is amazing and is integrated really well. Most 2 in 1’s are way more expensive.
-Lollipop OS by Android is more than serviceable
-Many inputs: HDMI, USB, headphones, micro SD (which can add up to 32 GB of memory)
-The keyboard is great for typing and navigating and with the help of some free document apps, I can make Microsoft Office compatible Word, Excel, and Power Point documents.
    – All in all it is a very serviceable tablet.

Now talking with the “Cons” most of them weren’t major deal killers, they were mostly just product designs that allowed for a cheaper product. If you can’t live without some of these features, then maybe you need to spend a few more bucks on a different tablet.

    Cons:
    – Its casing is made of a cheaper not as sturdy plastic. You can tell from holding that you shouldn’t be rough with it, but at least cases are cheap.
-The cameras (one forward facing and one in the back) are 2MP and are super low quality. They’re good enough for a web cam or Skype call but that is about almost what they are limited to.
    -Speakers are ok
-When you close the tablet + keyboard laptop style, it has about a half inch where they can open and close very easily and is loose. Which means if you’re not careful you can clank the 2 together. Nothing to bad and they planned ahead and put little soft plastic stoppers to deaden the blow but you could still accidentally damage the tablet this way.

All in all this tablet will give you great performance and great features for the price. If the given cost cutting drawbacks are something you can live with, and then you will be satisfied with your purchase. If not, then you should look for a more expensive tablet as this has incredible bang for its buck within its price range.

Great Tablet Love the Flexibility! I have had this for two months. Went to a Family History Seminar and downloaded the apps and got to work. I have traveled with it and super happy with battery life and the high resolution screen. Best thing is the standard size USB port so I can use a thumb drive.

  3. 5 out of 5

Good value. Delivers what it advertises. Good speed, 32 GB memory, keyboard functions well, good battery life. Overall, I am pleased with this tablet for overall functionality and value.

  4. 5 out of 5

Computing on the Cheap. This tablet replaced a 7 inch Lenovo tablet, which didn’t have enough memory to remember its way out of a wet paper sack. This tablet works very well. It is a very good bargain at $79 up to $149. The screen resolution is fine. Other reviewers whine about the low quality of the camera’s photos. They don’t see that this tablet is NOT a camera. If you want great photos, get a DSLR, not this tablet or a smartphone. The same reviewers whine about the tablet’s sound quality from its ONE speaker. They don’t hear that this tablet is NOT a Bose sound system, although with its Bluetooth feature you could connect it to a Bose sound system. If you want great audio from this tablet, use professional headphones or the Bluetooth feature with another sound system. I am quite satisfied with this tablet. As for the other disgruntled reviewers out there, what do you want? A rubber biscuit?

  5. 5 out of 5

Never buying a 600$ tablet again. I have never been happier with a tablet even my 600$ ipad. It works great! The keyboard is awesome! I love it. I think it even works better than the samsung galaxy tablets. Great for a student, I can type and save documents and powerpoints.

  6. 3 out of 5

OK Tablet but better options IMO. I will say the tablet is ok for the money, but I would personally recommend the Viking Pro 10.1″ instead for the following reasons (and it’s priced the same):

    1. Screen Resolution – the resolution on the Viking Pro is much better. Makes browsing the web a lot more enjoyable and if you are using the tablet for games, videos, etc you will be a lot happier.

    2. Operating System – While the Viking comes with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) it will upgrade to 6.0 (Marshmallow) which is same as this one.

    3. Battery Life – Battery Life is better on Viking Pro than on this model.

    4. Front Facing Camera – Viking Pro has 2.0 mp front camera while this one is at 1.0

    5. Full HDMI output on Viking Pro vs mini on this model. If you don’t have a mini HDMI cable this can save you money vs having to buy one.

    6. Storage – You get a full 32gb of storage on Viking Pro while this one says 32gb but you actually get 25.

    7. Keyboard Connection – Sturdy on Viking Pro while another user pointed out that it is rather flimsy on this model.

These reasons alone IMO are worth sacrificing the 1.4″ of screen you gain with this model over the Viking Pro… esp since that extra screen has worse resolution. If those reasons aren’t appealing to you than this may be the tablet for you.

Also to address the 2 star review because of no manual these RCA tablets actually have a built in User Manual under Settings > About Tablet in case anyone else needs it.

Hope this review is helpful in your decision to purchase a new tablet. Merry Christmas to all!

Perfect Tablet for Kids and Adults. I had the pleasure of testing this tablet during a work event. This is the perfect tablet for both work and fun! This tablet is amazing and comes with different colored keyboards. The operating system on this tablet is Android Marshmallow, which showcases all the new designs and features. The size of the tablet is just perfect. I would be able to use it for online shopping or streaming videos on its crystal clear 11.5 inch HD screen. I can even use this tablet for work as it has a powerful WPS Office App where I can even access my spreadsheets. The keyboard is detachable and you can attach it when you need a keyboard to type on. This tablet would be perfect for my son to browse Youtube for toddler videos. Since the price is right, I will not get a heart attack if he breaks it!

The price point is amazing for such a high quality product. This product even beats the quality on my iPad. Since holidays are coming up, this would make the perfect gift for my family.

I am submitting this review as part of a contest.

Best value for a tablet I have seen to date. I received this tablet a couple of days ago. When I opened the box and pushed the power button on the side of the tablet it immediately began to boot up. It was an 80% charge!

The keyboard is responsive, I was easily able to get it connected to my network and I was up and running on the web. I installed several programs including you version Bible, Polaroid office, Amazon prime and Skype. I tried each application and all worked flawlessly.

I especially like the fact that you can charge the tablet with the provided plug in power supply or the mini usb charger I use for my phone in the car.

It has a full size USB port plus a micro usb slot which takes up to a 128 gbyte chip!

When fully charged I get about 6 hours use time which is great.

It plays videos flawlessly and can also connect using the hdmi port provided.

I can’t be more pleased with the purchase.

RCA Galileo Pro 11.5″ 32GB Tablet. I bought this little device specifically to hook up to my flat screen to watch movies and boy it’s right on….Love this little device…it does so much more….plan to buy for my adult children for Christmas…..Be sure that you pick up the cable to attach to the tablet and your tv it does not come with it…..Walmart also has these wires online:

Link Depot 6′ Gold Plated HDMI to HDMI Mini High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet…..Enjoy!!

  10. 5 out of 5

Very user friendly. After boot up, it gave me a list of available Wifi servers and asked me which one I wanted. I answered the question and typed in the password and it asked me if I wanted to link with an associated device. (my cell phone) I affirmed and it told me the device had 32 programs that mine did not and gave me the choice on which ones to transfer to my tablet. I chose all of them. It asked other questions about syncing with google and so forth. It led the way and I just answered the questions. About 20 minutes later. I was fully set up. I was very pleased. The keyboard felt like a laptop.

Great tablet package! Needed a very small tablet to take with me on my work trips that had Chrome browser & case with built-in keyboard like this does. Keys are spring-load and have okay function, but nicest part is not having to charge the keyboard like most others- the tablet hooks in directly in the back of the case to run the keyboard as well with no wires. You can also remove the tablet if you want it outside the case. Another nice thing is the hinge lid holds the table up without the need for an awkward stand, just like a normal laptop. The case hard plastic so very sturdy. Great design for a very small travel tablet like a laptop. 16 GB storage plus micro SD slot for another 32 GB. Runs the latest 5.0 Android Lollipop, so that is also nice. Has standard tablet functionality & pre-loaded programs. Really haven’t found anything to dislike about it.

Very durable easy set up. I ordered this for my five year old daughter. It came in the mail today. Admittedly I was excited so I opened it right away to set it up before I picked her up from school. I ordered this tablet in pink and it’s the cutest thing. It looks like a mini lap top perfect for her little hands, but anyone could use this. Not just a child. Set up was super easy, I couldn’t believe how easy it was. Her previous tablet was so complicated it took me half an hour to even connect to wifi.. I had this one up and running within five minutes. The case is super sturdy and thick. It folds in half to close.
Seems pretty fast so far. I can’t guarantee how fast it will be once we load all her games on it, but so far so good. Tablet came almost fully charged. She’s been watching videos and playing on it all day and it just reached 5% battery. So the battery has lasted the whole day. Again, not sure if that will change the older it gets and the more use it gets.
Very good volume. Clear screen. Self facing camera. I would recommend this product. The price can’t be beat.

Tablet RCA Android with Keyboard/Case. I purchased this tablet while traveling as I wanted something small enough to fit in my purse. I found the keyboard easy to use and the case durable enough to protect the tablets screen. I didn’t want to take my laptop or a larger tablet with me that had to be carried in a separate bag. I like the fact I could use this anywhere and it took up very little room. I often Go Geocaching when I’m traveling and I’m away from Wi-Fi. I like that I can open 15 or 20 pages/tabs with my geocaching information on them close the tablet and then reopen it later out in the field to reread information. The camera seems to work fine and have used it several times. I do wish though that they had a camera that work on both sides of the tablet it would be easier to take landscape photos. The case was well-designed and has several nice soft plastic bumper pads that cushion it when it’s closed. I have shared my new tablet with friends and several of them are now purchasing them.

  14. 5 out of 5

New tablet. Just want to say I’ve received this tablet from Walmart, and it was fast delivery and when I set this baby up, wow!
Its one of the best tablets I ever got, not bad for the price too.

  15. 5 out of 5

Great value. I purchased 2 of these tablets (blue and purple) for my 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter. They are great. Very easy to set up and use. My son prefers to use his with the keyboard and my daughter prefers to use the tablet by itself. They both love the colors. With Android and wifi, what more do you need? My son can even type his school papers on it and then print them (using cloud print). They can get all their games in the play store. My daughter’s screen just froze up today, but I was able to find the fix online here (put a pin in the reset button on back for 45 sec and restart) and it’s working great again (she was so relieved!). The one thing that is subpar about them is that the speakers/sound quality is really poor. The music to the games sounds grainy and although you can use it to listen to music, I wouldn’t recommend it (and I am not an audiophile). But everything else seems to be pretty good, and when you compare this to the rest of the market, it is a great bargain.

  16. 5 out of 5

Ideal for reading books or playing games outside. The tablet itself is very light, which is nice if you want to hold it in one hand, but it is large enough to play android games comfortably. This tablet is 7 inches, which is big enough to not strain your eyes when looking at the screen, but small enough to fit snugly in my pockets. The screen of the tablet is an 1900 x 1200 IPS display, which means that it can go anywhere with sunlight and still be clearly seen, and to see the smallest of details that most tablets for this price skimp.

  17. 5 out of 5

Not Bad. I usually don’t buy refurbished products. After reading some reviews I decided to give it a shot. If it didn’t work out to my satisfaction I would return it for a full refund. Well to my surprise the tablet was in very good condition. It arrived in a shipping box but no original Samsung tablet box. It was in a thick plastic wrap with the USB cord and simple instructions. I looked for scratches on the device and found none. The only thing that wasn’t so good was the USB plug for charging. It was loose inserting it into the tablet. I used the one from my cell phone and it fit snug and charged just fine. The tablet operating system worked fine and connection to the WiFi well. It didn’t connect to my cell phone using it as a hot spot. I thought it was the tablet having the problem but when I asked a friend to lend me his phone to use as a hot spot it connected fine. I discovered it was my cell phone that had the problem. I thought I could put a Sim card for wireless connection through a cellular provider but it only connects to WiFi. So for less than I would pay for at full price Walmart made a believer out of me.

  18. 5 out of 5

No issues, great tablet. I did a lot of research and initially leaned toward one of the Lenovo tablets because of the faster processor and the larger RAM. However, after reading reviews of the Lenovo tablets and then the Samsung tablets, I decided on the Samsung. Almost regardless of where I looked, Samsung got mostly 4 and 5 star reviews. I purchased the tablet primarily to shoot sports video and playback. This tablet shoots video at 30 fps, which is comparable to some of the higher end tablets. I’ve done a bit of video and slow motion/freeze frame playback, and it is excellent.
I’ve been an Android user for years, so the OS was comfortable, although a bit outdated, but for a tablet, it works fine. I wouldn’t be happy with an older android OS on a phone, but for a tablet it works fine.
Battery life is excellent. I haven’t (and won’t) use the GPS for navigation and the tablet is WiFi only, so I don’t have any heavy battery usage apps running. For surfing the web, email, news etc., it’s plenty fast. Of course my concern with the slightly slower processor was proven to be a non issue.
I typically don’t buy refurbished, but so far, this tablet works perfectly. Cosmetically it was perfect.
I also have Kindle tablets which are my primary ebook readers, but I have a book app loaded on the Samsung and the settings are easy to manipulate. I like the “outdoor” setting to bring the contrast and brightness up which resets automatically. Great feature.
In all, I’m very impressed with the tablet and happy with the purchase.

  19. 5 out of 5

Samsung Galaxy Tab E, 9.6-inch display, w/WiFi. I’ve had this tablet for a little over 2-months and just ordered another one just like it for my wife (I’m a low risk taker so the tablet must be OK). I was unable to detect any physical or operational evidence that the tablet had been used previously; it appeared in “as new” condition, except for the plain unbranded shipping container. I use the tablet almost exclusively for web surfing and e-mails. It is adequately fast enough for both uses. It is not as fast as my Windows 10 desktop, but is faster than my Android smartphone using the same home WiFi. I’m happy with the battery life between recharging; I think it will last at least 8-10 hours between recharges with heavy WiFi use (I’ve never exhausted the battery before recharging and I’ve never timed the period between needing to recharge). It has an app installed to read, write, and edit Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (not full-blown capability of MS Office) files, which I’ve not yet used. Since it uses the Android operating system, all of the many applications available online at the Google Store will run on this tablet within its memory and storage capability (you have to be selective; you can’t download them all). So many apps, so little time.

  20. 5 out of 5

Love it!!! Ordered to replace my Moms Kindle that was so bogged down by ads.
She loves the larger screen, its easier to see, use, and a lot quicker too.
    No complaints

  21. 5 out of 5

Samsung Galaxy Tab E Tablet. This is a refurbished tablet but you would never know it. It is really like new, no difference except price.

  22. 5 out of 5

Really impressed. I’ve sort of reached my limit with buying the latest and greatest devices – at a premium price – since technology is changing so fast and most of the devices do most of the same basic things.

I now have and LOVE a Moto G phone so I figured I would give the parent company Lenovo a try with a budget tablet.

Having said all that, I am shocked at how nice this tablet is for the price. I was going to buy the Plus version but after reading all the reviews opted for the cheaper one. I don’t care about a finger print reader and I like the black matte backing rather than a glass backing.

I’ve already uploaded Google Now Launcher and this thing is really cool.

The low price scared me, truthfully, but I went for it anyway, and I’m glad I did.

  23. 5 out of 5

Nice alternative to Samsung 8.0 screen. This is a good alternative to Samsung. Performance similar to the new Samsung Tab A 8.0 2017 edition but $70-90 less. The few things you don’t get for the money in comparison to the Samsung is it has 5mp back and 2mp front camera and not a 8mp back and 5mp front, only 16gb not 32gb of storage and no auto brightness.

The screen brightness and battery life is very good comparable to Samsung and the stereo speakers are excellent. This tablet also has an FM radio and a notification light that adds a nice touch to it that most tablets don’t have.

There is much less bloatware. I know comparison to the older Samsung Tab A 8.0, it probably has 350-500mb less storage taken up from bloatware. As for an example, Microsoft Office with Skype and OneDrive uses up about 350mb, with Samsung you can’t uninstall it but Lenovo you can. Lenovo has its own Weather, sound recorder and some goofy introduction app you can’t uninstall but the storage space taken is very minimal. This does have a stock Android feel to it but Samsung is known for its bells and whistles with their version. For example, the Split-screen is very stock on this and Samsung designed their to almost behave like Microsoft Windows with changing the size, have more then two window open and minimize feature with a floating icon that can be reopen. But on an 8 inch screen, how many apps will you have on one screen?

Also bezel does not have physical navigation buttons so the navigation is on screen. Not very noticeable when in portrait mode but the screen does feel a little smaller in landscape mode. Many apps have a navigation button auto hide when scrolling or watching a video so the screen looks full screen. I think that is a personal preference if someone wants a tablet with onscreen or physical buttons.

All in all, it is a great tablet and an excellent alternative to a Samsung. I decided to try this brand out because I am a Moto phone fan and I haven’t been disappointed.

GREAT. love this tab great pix. super fast too

Alot better than i expected, especially for the money. I’ve had a $200 windows tablet that wasn’t near this nice.

  26. 3 out of 5

Bluetooth Pairing. It doesn’t allow you to pair with Bluetooth accessories. It gives you a Pairing code but doesn’t have a way to input it. If this feature is important to you pass on this. Manufacturer is difficult to contact. However if Bluetooth is not a factor, this tablet is an exceptional value for the specs.
